同学会 is 365滚球官网’s longest-running tradition! 每年一个星期, this unique event brings alumni, students and community members together in 莫斯科 to celebrate traditions with the whole Vandal Family.

Last year’s 同学会 theme was “No Place like 莫斯科.一定要 更新您的联系方式 to receive updates for this year’s theme, time, date and location details. Check back in August to find more details for fun new events as they are announced.

返校周活动

开球事件

The 同学会 kick-off event marks the beginning of the best week on campus and is typically held on the Sunday before 同学会. 为了开球, the 同学会 committee organizes a field day filled with friendly competitions for students to take part in. The kick-off event is also where 同学会 royalty nominees are announced, and 同学会 merchandise is distributed.  

摧残莫斯科 

摧残莫斯科 decorates the downtown business district with Vandal Pride. Student organizations work with business owners to decorate their storefronts with silver and gold art the whole community can enjoy. 一旦完成, 校友法官, the 同学会 president and advisor stroll through downtown to select a winning design.

押韵 

押韵 brings together university student organizations to put on skits for fellow students and 校友法官. In past years, this has been held on the Theophilus Tower lawn. Skits are awarded points for how well they represent the 同学会 theme with creativity and Vandal Pride. Part talent show, part pep rally, 押韵 always promises to be a show you won’t want to miss.

被破坏最多的风扇 

被破坏最多的风扇 takes place during halftime of the 同学会 Women’s Volleyball game. Student organizations nominate two members each that get dressed up in their best Vandal gear from head to toe. 校友 judges settle the debate as to who has the most Vandal Spirit in all the land.

蜿蜒的 and the 汪达尔人的集会 

蜿蜒的 

The 蜿蜒的 is one of the most anticipated events of the week. President Green leads the procession, followed by the 同学会 committee, 爱达荷军乐队之声, Vandal Spirit Squad and hundreds of students. Beginning at the U of I golf course, the excitement and energy build as the 蜿蜒的 makes its way through campus all the way to the P1FCU Kibbie Dome parking lot to start the 汪达尔人的集会.  

汪达尔人的集会 

When the 蜿蜒的 arrives outside the Dome, the 汪达尔人的集会 starts the most exciting event of the night. The 同学会 committee gives a speech to introduce and crown the 同学会 Royalty. Head Football Coach Jason Eck is then joined by Vandal football players to pump up the crowd for the big 同学会 football game the following evening. 来结束这次集会, a spectacular drone show sponsored by ICCU and fireworks show light up the night sky.   

返校节游行 

学生, community members and alumni all take part in the 返校节游行 through downtown 莫斯科. Student teams create parade floats that show their Vandal Pride and get the crowd pumped up for the 同学会 football game later that evening. 校友 judges vote for the best float among the student organizations as they roll through the crowds along the main strip of the 莫斯科 business district. 今年, we are continuing a new tradition called “Future Vandal Parade” where Vandal parents and their children have their own parade through downtown before the rest of the procession gets up and running.  

同学会游戏 

同学会 week festivities build to a roaring celebration at the big 同学会 football game Saturday night. The energy in the Kibbie Dome is electric with the student section showing off their best Vandal gear and spirit. 中场休息的时候, our 同学会 Royalty are presented to the alumni side of the field and join the Vandal Marching Band and the Vandaleers to lead the entire crowd in singing our Alma Matter. Our 同学会 2023 football game sold out! Help us pack the Dome again this year by purchasing your game tickets when they go on sale.
